Launch X431 to Reset Service Indicator of Audi A6
How to reset with X431
Firstly, ensure you have the latest software and then select the options
as follows:
1. Enter the "instrument cluster" system
2. Choose "adaptation", then enter channel "42" and change the number to "150". (If
it is already 150, then you do not need to change it)
3. Repeat as above for channel "43"
4. Enter channel "41" and change the number to "0"
5. Enter channel "02" and change the number to "0"
6. Enter channel "42" and change the internal remainder miles X (distance until next
service)
NOTE: if you want to change the miles to "8000km", X = (15000 - 8000) / 100 = 70, you
should enter "70".
• Exit the diagnostic software_
